"The Reasons You Don't Make Prospecting Calls
And When You Do, Why They Don't Work"

Most network marketers don't have the slightest idea how to make effective prospecting calls. This is especially true when it comes to "Cold Calls."

Here are a few of the most common mistakes they make:

  1. They don't know what to say.

    (The result: They fumble and stumble over their words and come across to the prospect as unprepared and unprofessional.)

  2. They talk too much.

    (The result: They talk themselves out of the deal.)

  3. They try selling their products/program over the phone.

    (The result: When the prospect feels he/she is being "sold," he/she becomes skeptical and backs off.)

  4. They don't qualify the prospect properly.

    (The result: They end up wasting their time (and money) with unqualified prospects.)

  5. They don't ask powerful questions that create curiosity.

    (The result: The prospect does not become engaged in the call and quickly loses interest.)

  6. They don't know how to respond to resistance.

    (The result: The network marketer becomes flabbergasted and usually resorts back to selling, or worse...begging.)

  7. They usually forget to end everything they say with a question.

    (The result: They leave themselves wide open for the prospect to take control of the call thereby making the network marketer completely helpless.)

  8. They don't know how to close.

    (The result: Nothing happens.)

  9. They don't have a system to follow.

    (The result: They never get good at prospecting and they burn themselves out of the business.)

That's the bad news.
